*The effect of incorrect red cards is determined on a game-by-game basis taking into account the influence of the player sent off, how well that player was playing, the dominance of the team incurring the injustice, and the minute of the sending off. Examples: Titus Bramble sent off incorrectly in the 85th minute of a game Wigan were struggling to control is presumed to not effect the outcome of a game. In comparison the incorrect sending off of Christiano Ronaldo in the 20th minute of a game that Man. Utd. were dominating is likely to impact the outcome of the game.
